will a mainsail & rollergenny II cost for an average 1970 - 1980 built 30 footer cost (eg Albin Ballad) ?

Intended use is cruising with maximum flexibility.

Durability is a must, probably fully battened main + stack-pack/lazy-bag (or whatever they're called).

Just after an approximate price.

Any kind souls out there who can help

Ive recently replaced my main on a 30 foot jeanneau. Loose foot, 3 slabs, full length top batten all for £800 ish..... quotes varied from £500 to £1500 from about 6 different suppliers.

I am going to replace the Gen next year for about £1k.

Main £1200-£1300 (mebe a bit more for f/b + packaway)
Furler £800-£1000

Depends .... s/hand refurbished via Seateach : http://www.seateach.com/ would be reasonable bet and lot cheaper ..... they would even do a deal package of furler, sails, stack=pack etc. etc.

then of course you could go for new .... so prices then start to escalate rapidly.

Now the bank guy said he would go up to a 20K loan and 30' is a bit cramped ........
