Stand alone Microwave/Cobmi oven on their boat with a left handed door on it ie hinged on the right?

If so could you please let me know who makes it?

I have spent the last few years risking life and limb removing hot things from my right handed eye level oven because the oven shelf is in a corner. There is no room to relocate the oven and as it was one of the many things that blew up over the Easter weekend, I need to replace it quickly but it seems that they are like rocking horse poo

Funny you should ask as we are replacing dishwasher and due to size constraints, we need a smaller microwave and. ideally a hinge at the right side would work best.

The answer is to get one with a drop down door. You can get a Baumatic combi microwave for about £165.

The drop down door would be a good compromise.

However, the stand alone combi oven Baumatic PMC355SS comes in at an eye watering £669.97

I shall have another trawl of the internet this evening and see if I can find a drop down door oven at a more reasonable price

I had a quick search on Google and came up with this page :

We have a Bosch combi oven in the kitchen at home, this is a microwave/fan oven/grill and has a drop down door. Not cheap though, but might be worth a look at the Bosch range.

Have you cheked your microwave door hinges. in most case you can change the hinges to the other side just as you would with a fridge door? Usualy its just a matter of unscrewing the door and and changing the hinges to the other side. have a look could be worth it. Alternativy when buying a new oven look for one with the pre drilled holes for the hinges on both sides usualy concealed by a plastic clip off cover.

I would be highly surprised if anyone makes a microwave with a moveable door, what with the risk of microwave leakage.

I dont think there is a m/wave with a reversible door. Neff make a m/wave and grill (not a full combi) and you can specify right or left hand hinge. There is more choice of combis with a drop down door.

I have been doing a bit of digging and have come up with the Whirlpool JT-369 which is a "full combi" (which is essential for me as we have no other oven on board) and it has a drop down door.

It is £299 at Currys but I have found it on the net for £219 and it comes in white, black or silver.

Might be worth a look for you - it is the only reasonably priced drop door combi that I have found
