Help can\'t find bennets trim tab site

Trying to find bennets trim tab simulater site. Call me thick but can I find it NO.
Therefore I need a link.

Also need a link for a "docking simulater" that was around on the forum a year or so ago. Showing very basic marina berths with a boat you had to direct against prevailing wind and tide conditions and berth correctly. Does anyone remember this ? Promised I would e,mail to a friends son and now can't find either.

Just downloaded. COOL!!!!! Love the Cigarette boat!

Uhhm, it seems to run fine. I'd delete the installation, and download again, just in case it was corrupted. Other than that, it might be a PC config problem - how much free RAM do you have?

Once you've got it running the options menu is wonderful, try 50' high waves with strong wind and thunder and rain - I felt right at home! <g>

Nope still not having it.
Installs ok and opens to a "bennet trim tab simulater" and a "uninstall" icon. Click "BTTS" then a box "Demo etc" opens, click start then a screen with some boats flashes up for a milli second and thats your lot thanks for coming.
Now you have told me how bloody marvelous it is I want a go.......help

OS = operating system

eg Windows 95, 98 XP etc
You need 98 as minimum

I've also tracked down the company who wrote the simulator. You need DirectX8 or above. If you dont have it installed, you can download from here

You also need a 3D graphic accelerator of some sort, either hardware or software

I just downloaded it to see if I could shed some light.

A couple of things might be going on here....

Do you have a graphics accelerator, without it judging by the graphics it may not want to play at all. The appears to be a selection for software such as direct X, make sure your direct X is right up to date (Micronsoft.com)

Turn down all the graphics, low resolution such as 480x640 for example.

There is some quite complex graphics going on here, it might just be that your machine is just not up to it.

Good fun though, sinking a few stinkpots is always a laugh. You can hit the rocks at 40kts and just bounce off, shame, a good explosion would be fun. I think I need to stop playing war games online /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Can't help with docking simulator, but you can download a trim tab simulator (very realisitic!) from the Bennett site - or ask us for a CD.

I'm sure itsonlymoney would appreciate a CD, though only if you can tell him how to get it running on his computer as he's already donwloaded it twice and it won't run. I assume you've not read those bits?? It's a bit irritating when someone jumps on a thread proffering commericial contacts, without having read the thread first
