Do we have any central heating experts on the forum? If so please PM me 'cos I need advice to prevent a domestic problem turning into a 'you're not going near that bl**dy boat again until this is sorted' sort of issue.

Thanks for responses guys but have called in British Gas - believe it or not they will come tomorrow. Problem is a long standing one of erratic hot water supply and may well be a serious air lock problem in a very complex pipework system.
Actually, its made SWBMTB a lot more boat friendly cos the hot water from the calorifier is better than at home!

Now, here's the rub, cost of a 12 month all inclusive parts and labour support contract including fixing current problems is just over £200. ie less than 10% of current mooring fees for 12 months and some £50 less than my Thames Licence for this year !
