Help and Advice please

HWMBO and myself have a semi displacement grp twin engined boat with a total of 120 hp. Unfortunately this will only give us about 9 to 10 knots. With a lot of the formula one Grand Prix teams threatening to pull out of the 2010 championship, it occurs to me that they might be flogging off some of their KERS units. With two KERS units fitted we could get another 160 hp for short periods of time. Do the panel think that if we could get the boat up on the plane and then switch off the KERS, the 120 hp would keep us going

Why not fit the KER into a VAN, that would make it a .......... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I am sure that KERS would help but you would need to fit brakes to charge the KERS battery before you would have any new power to use.
