Hello,i'm on a narrowboat (3 weeks), looking for help finding moorings & laundromats
(I couldn't find any recent posts about laundromats so I am making this one, if i missed one, please point me to it)
(also, i hope this isn't a double, looks like the first one didn't go through)
let me share what I have found out so far.
Pangbourne - has a laundromat not far from the station. coin operated
Maidenhead ~300 meters west of the bridge, next to Domino's pizza, not self service, but they charged ~12 pounds price for ~16 lbs weight, including folding, an ok deal. (took them a day)

moorings -- Cookham is nice, as is Henley. (nice by our standards == place for the kids to play around on the grass outside)
Bourne End (south side of the river, east of the bridge. ) -- muddy and uncomfortable
in Henely last week we paid for the moorings at the parking lots, like the sign said , but when we walked by other boats it seemed like we were the only ones.
what's the mooring like in Marlow? (there's two places right? )

oh and another question - in Hurley lock, we couldn't operate the drinking water, what's the secret?
