Is it possible to dinghy to Gweek up the helford river from the visitors moorings ?

Yes.

There is also a boat yard at Gweek, so you can gat the boat up on the right tide.

Need to get the tides right. The river bed is / was gravel when I dragged a dinghy up, only to find the shop shut but pub open !!
