Popped in for a pint & some lunch, bit shocked at the beer price, but hey ho.
Then tried to order a burger & chips, nice girl taking orders said "Sorry I'm afraid the chef is waiting for a delivery of chips", OK said I, can I have it with the mash instead then please? She say's "I'll just check with chef & goes through the door & asks, I hear the chef say "Oh hell I'll have to make that, anyway it's not on the menu so tell him no" Girl comes back and say's "I'm really sorry but we don't do mash". I say, tell the chef to look at the bottom of the menu where it say's that mashed potato is an option, She goes to point that out & I hear him say "we'll remove that then".
