I'm considering buying a Jeanneau Merry Fisher 805 (Year 2002) fitted with a Volvo TAMD41 200HP diesel engine (and fitted with a flying bridge/sundeck as standard) and would like to find out a few facts about this model, including:-
(1) its fuel tank capacity;
(2) its range on a full tank (assuming its recommended crusing speed of 15knots);
(3) its weight/tonnage (assuming approx. empty fuel and water tanks);
(4) its height (from the waterline to the top of the flying bridge/sundeck);

If anyone can help or recommend where I can source this information, I'd be grateful. Thank you.

1) 230 litres
2) 90 miles, ish [1]
3) 3360 kg
4) Approx 3m

[1] Not sure where the recommendation for 15 knots came from. With the Nanni 4.390 she'll cruise nicely at 3,200 RPM (400 RPM less then the Max of 3,600). This will give a cruising speed between 14 and 19 knots, depending upon conditions. That's covering both extremes, typically she'll cruise at about 17 knots.

Fuel burn is circa 25 litres an hour. Pushing a strong tide, expect to use 2 litres per mile. With a following tide that could change to 1.5 litres per mile.

The Nanni engine is bulletproof, easy to work on and parts are readily available. Service items are available from aftermarket sources, as the base engine it a 3.0 litre Toyota Landcruiser engine.

Anything else you need to know, ask away.

Lottery winning No.s for tomorrows Euromillions.
Plus the dimension of the srews that secure the 'fun box' on me mates 805 please.

Oh, on second thoughts, just gis the lottery no.s.
Then I will be in touch ref the details of summat different!;)

Anyway
I did a 'cruise in company' with an 805, engined with the Nanni a while back
She did 120 miles with 15 litres, ish, to spare.
Outward leg smooth sea. I think She averaged 14kts
Return was a little lumpy but the average speed was reduced to about 10 kts.
Including a 'rest' period where the Skippers wife asked for a cessasion of movement cos said SWMBO needed a 'movement' of Her own and was finding it difficult to 'attach' to the heads so to speak.
This kinda gives you an Idea asto the sea conditions at the time.
Hhmm!?
Could write a new kinda Beaufort scale based on that Information.
Wind force an all that:D

SWMBO has those number on a ticket in her handbag. She's in bed now, and has to be up at 5 for work. I'll be in the pub when she finishes, but will get them to you first thing Saturday morning, without fail.

We did a trip to the Thames in Sept, smooth sea but pushed the tide all the way. We also averaged 14 knots. Done 90 miles when we tied up in the marina, fuel gauge was in the red, but not sure exactly what was left in the tank. We did have 100 litres in cans in the locker as reserve though.

If she was down to 10 knots on the return trip, it was not a nice day. An 805 won't plane at 10 knots, and that's above displacement speed. We had a trip across The Wash where conditions kept dragging us down to 9-10 knots, Gawd knows whether the hull was planning, displacing or wtf, but it wasn't nice. Didn't work the fuel burn out for that one.
