Hebrides: islands on the edge - BBC iPlayer

Anyone with a passing interest in Scotland might be worth their time searching for "Hebrides: Islands on the edge" on BBC iPlayer. Bit of natural history, bit of coastline interest, episode one had footage of Coryvreckan filmed from a helicopter with standing waves and whirlpools.

It was on BBC Scotland, so you have to search for it, you can't find it in the regular beeb listings, unless you're in Scotland of course.

Word or caution though, it might want to make you take your boat there

Looked all rainy, windy and stormy and Islay gets 3 metres of rain a year....hardly the best advert... Not a midge in sight though
