Heavenly Twins

Googly photos and illustrations I've seen are none too clear so...Are the masts on Heavenly Twin 27 catamarans stepped in a tabanacle, deck stepped or do they fit through the cabin top and sit on a cross member below the cabin sole? The vessel in question is I think an early mark of the series with the 'old fashioned' windows in the forepart of the cabin.

There used to be one moored near me; I can't swear to it but I'm 80% sure it had a tabernacle.

Edit; there's a short tabernacle on this one but I have no idea about various marks & models or if it may be an optional extra / one off, though I doubt the latter.
