Monday-Friday & all the weekends you have to work.
Either this or your first day back to work after a misserable fortnight.

SOF safer but the heatwave will begin the day you fly out & be hotter here with record temperatures untill you fly home.

It's called sods law.

PS let us know when you will be going, then we know when to book our holidays /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

SOF is a big place. Where abouts? Beaulieu and Menton are best.

[/ QUOTE ]

or St Tropez, St Maxime, St Raphael, Frejus, Lavandou, Bandol, Cassis, Cogolin, Theoule, La Napoule, Cannes, Golfe Juan, Vallauris, Juan Les Pins, Cap d'Antibes, Antibes, St Laurent, Nice, Eze, Nice Est, Villefranche, Cap St Ferrat, Cap d'Ail ?? -- really is a question of what you are looking for and I'm sure I've missed some : /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif and those are just the French CdA coastal - marina areas - some great places a couple of miles inland too.

If you folks do have a heatwave can you please send it to the Cote d'Azur ? Poured down yesterday and only 22 degrees today. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Only problem with SOF is that it is full of people that refuse to help you practise your school boy/girl french.... Found the locals to be a little intolerant.

Plus the traffic jams around St Tropez what a mess....

Bit over rated. Mind you I did enjoy a few rounds of golf there a couple of years ago. Up in the hills... can t remember the course but on the 10th hole (I think) you had probably one of the best views from a golf course.

Anyone else like Menton? I think it's my favourite Cote d'Azur town sitting on the French side of the Italian border but leaning towards Italia and that autoroute viaduct 10 miles up in the air has its own majesty.

Mmh , July and August everything and the folks get a little stressed - at least those in the Restaurant business do, I find them generally great but then I am biased !

You have one heck of a memory , it is the 10th hole and the course is Grasse Country Club -- the view you look at off the tee ( and nearly fall into on the green) --- about 1800 feet ?? is La Napoule and Theoule .. stunning.

The ONLY ways to go to St Trop are by sea or 'copter. The queues get worse every year ( so I'm told) .. One way In and One way out ...

Yes I like Menton ,, but actually find Beaulieu ashore a bit of a dump ...which contrasts with it being one of the nicest anchorages around

Bother! I was hoping someone would remark on my spelling of "Italia" so that I could recount the apocryphal creation of Powergen's would-be Italian subsidiary "Powergenitalia" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Has to be Nice. Those old school amongst you will remember my 40th birthday bash there last July. Absolutely loved the place. Great day out at Antibes and great day out at Monte carlo. Only one thing wrong with going to Nice, you have to come back. Unless of course your a lucky git who either lives there or berths there.

Re: Boatless in sof france club

Bog read off just ..

Please reorder in the order which gives you the most satisfactory answer !

Your facts may be indisputable , however I continue in my quest for the perfect boat. Only conclusion to date is that it should not be designed by hlb ..
