Managerd to get to the boat this weekend and found one of the engine bay heaters had failed.

Had not been able to go for quite a while due to Christmas and then being ill. I was gald I decided to have two heaters inside and two in the engine bay, at least one was still keeping the frost at bay.

Unusual for a tube heater to fail but there you go. Just thoufght I would mention it. They are not expensive so if anyone is relying on one, it's worth considering two in case one fails.

Also powered up a new Standard Horizon 500 plotter, fitted the bracket etc. Couldnt test it moving as we didn't go out, but it found the signals and updated the screen really fast. It looks great, and its easier to navigate the menus than the CP 1000 I was replacing.

So after not seeing the boat for weeks, and having a new toy to play with I was a happy boy. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
