So....with the heaters/thermostats in place I now wonder:-

1. Is it best to leave the ceiling-mounted airvent open to allow warm/moist air out?

2. Should I close it in order to keep additional moisture out?

Hmmm...cant get my head around which is better for the winter.....

Answers on a postcard please....

Brief visit to the boat on Friday and checked the heater usage. Stat is set to switch on single tube heater in engine bay if temperature down there falls below 2-3 degrees .

Hasn't switched on yet and max/min thermometer shows lowest temp in engine bay has been 4 degrees.!
