I am canabalizing 2 webesto heaters to make one. One is almost new and I am trying to use those parts where possible.
The fan motor on the older one runs normally when 24 volts are applied.
The newer one spins once and stops when 24 volts are applied to the same leads, it will do this every time the power is applied. This motor has several additional leads and I have no idea what they do as I think this is a webasto special. I'm trying to understand what conditions allow a motor to make just one spin and stop. I guess that the other wires have something to do with it possibly limiting the conditions that will allow the motor to run.
Yes, if all else fails the older motor will go in!!
Regards to all
