Just spent an hour on google looking for the part number /seller for this simple but necessary item. The water cap on the top of the heat exchanger has pipe connections on top for expansion and return via a header tank. I've recently had the heat exchanger overhauled - minus the rubber profiled washer which effectively seals the system and allows the expanded water to flow. Has any one had experience to replace the washer - a new cap from VP is silly money - and not necessary. Perhaps if the correct part cannot be found - there's a u tube video showing a replacement ( but the source of the part was not revealed) double O rings might work
