Just watched it on ITV, complete load of crap but filmed on Skye (the main reason I was watching).
Didn't recognise the village although I've spent some time on the island.
Anyone know for sure where? My money is on this place.

From the map I can understand why you think so but does this map not indicate an eastern shore and I felt that they were implying a western Isles slant to this? She was certainly a Celt.
When he arrived they said there was no hotel. On the map it looks like he would't have had a problem on that score!

But you're right the Geography looks very much like the location doesn't it.

It's an eastern shore of a western isle!
Can't find much info on the interweb, only that it was filmed on Skye. I know a fair bit of the island from my climbing days so that narrows it down to places I haven't visited.
Must be somebody here who has sailed there, there were a few pleasure boats moored in the bay.
