I want to fit reefing to the headsail of my Dehler 22. I am considering the Profurl and Plastimo types. I have past experience of Plastimo but not Profurl.
The Profurl model is the C260 which is the smallest in the range and attaches differently to the rest (it also has an internal halyard). There seem to be no link plates but the drum cage system clamps to the lower swage terminal of the forestay.
Does anyone have experience of this smallest reefing system in the Profurl range and also how well the internal halyard works compared with a conventional halyard? Are they better than the Plastimo systems?

We had Profurl on a previous boat ... very good. We liked that the genoa halyard was spare and able to be used for other uses.
Present boat has Plastimo, to be honest HWMBO and I don't really notice much difference except of course Plastimo uses original halyard. He has said though once or twice that Profurl wouldn't have wrapped the halyard as we had happen with the Plastimo.
