Heads outlet pipe

I think the heads inlet and outlet hoses on my boat is 20+ years old so could do with replacing. I understand that there is some sort of special hose to use.

Anyone know what it is and do most chandlers stock it?

Head is a Baby Blake.

Sanitary (or sanitation) hose

Id expect many if not most decent chanders would stock it. Or ASAP supplies.

Just in the process of doing mine. Hose was easily available (from Force 4 in our location). It's pretty solid stuff and getting it onto a Blakes seacock in an inaccessible position was a nightmare!

Just taken the white pvc sani hose back as it cracked on me so I dug deeper and replaced it with Vetus rubber sani hose, so much easier to bend, fit. The white is cheaper but not worth the agro.

The white sanitation hose can be softened with hot water or a hair drier and is then easy to bend and push onto fittings. I have much recent experience of this having just completed fitting of a holding tank. The Vetus hose is good but I have just replaced mine with the cheaper alternative as the wire spiral in the Vetus hose was corroding and the outer material was starting to perish. It may have been there for all the boats 21 years though so not a bad innings!

About to do the job myself - the old pipe was still OK, but the thought of hearing it up with a hot air gun didnt appeal at all!

We don't have a home port, just leave the boat wherever we happen to be when we have to come home. Currently she's in Plymouth. I would prefer to buy there than buy online and add to the gear we have to take by car.
