I am looking to change my heads outlet hose and have found the existing hose is badly kinked at the top of the "anti syphon loop" ..... I was thinking of fitting a vented anti syphon loop as a way of turning 180 deg without a kink! £20 +++ is a bit steep for a £1 plastic tube? Has anyone solved this problem in a different way?

I used the white sanitation hose and it's in a fairly big loop so no problem with it kinking. and it's fairly stiff so unless I forced it into a tight loop it's fine. Are you using the correct hose? I wouldn't use plastic fitting in this application! Also you don't want any restriction on the outlet hose. Perhaps you could clamp the hose with hose clips/clamps so it didn't try and go into a tight curve? Good luck anyway - anything to do with marine loos is not nice!

I replaced the inlet hose on the heads with sanitation hose purchased from a well known chandler. It's split twice and the local engineer recomended replacing it with Vetus sanitation hose. What a difference in hose quality, though at a price, and no struggle to get it onto the spigots.

A vented anti syphon loop on your outlet hose?? I hope not! I wouldnt want pumped poo all over my heads, thanks.

Hell fire ..... thats expensive! ..... at least you have made me feel more comfortable spending £20+ on a vented loop :-)
Expensive it was but it was worth it after the struggle with the previous hose. A feeling of confidence in the plumbing and the boat less likely to sink.
