Right then, at present the heads compartment on my Sabre (whilst still being quite cramped!) is totally empty...bare bulkheads, bare GRP everywhere. And I'd like to make it a bit more cosy!
At the moment I am quite liking the idea of some kind of tongue and groove up to "dado rail" height which will co-incide with the deck level. I'm thinking white or very pale cream paint, some teak detailing, and some of the light grey "van lining" material I have above the teak dado rail. Bit of swish lighting, solar vent to deal with whiffs and damp, job done.
But I am open to ideas! It's got to be simple and cheap though! For the tongue and groove, I was going to use simple pine, painted on both sides, and stuck to the bulkhead with "no more nails" or similar. But I am worried about damp getting in behind it...and I was also thinking about using uPVC cladding that you might see on a conservatory...so easy to clean.
Thanks!
