Headliner glue again

My deckhead linings are fine but the linings above the side lockers have come away - quite small areas but unsightly. I cleaned up the glass-fibre and scraped off the broken up foam on the vinyl and stuck it back with impact adhesive. No good. What glue would do better?

Doesn't that foam backed headliner always give problems? If the foam breaks up what is there to hold it?

Jim - Evostick is what I used. Coopec - glue! I want to glue the scraped bare vinyl straight to the glass-fibre.

I often glue the scraped back liner to where it came from, IMHO its pretty difficult to work out which still has the foam attached to it !
