Heading to Blackwater this weekend

All fuelled up and ready to go given tomorrow's forecast of no wind, we're heading for Stangate tonight ahead of going over to West Mersea tomorrow for the VictoriaShadow Association E.Coast rally. Be on the look out for the little fleet of double enders, cutters and sloops.

On Sunday morning we have the annual Oyster Dredging match under sail - quite a spectacle.

If you are near the Colne on Saturday there is a barge match starting at 8.00 am, so instead of heading for Stangate to night, why not go to East Mersea stone?

We had a great time in W.Mersea, nice meal in the Yacht Club.
