Headhose-UV?

Had couple of feet left over so split it and put it over the toe rail teak for protection from the mooring line . How will the hose handle the UV? Thanks

I'd think it will probably get brittle and then turn to powder, as most plastics do, but it'll depend what its made of and how much UV it catches. Here in Taiwan a few months, much longer in Scotland.

In its intended role it wouldn't get much UV exposure, so I wouldnt expect especially resistant material to be used.
