Head units to fit Lowrance X100c Fish Finder installation

I've got one of these fitted to a Dive Boat but the backlight has gone and replacement is v expensive. I'm looking for a 2nd hand unit but there are no X100C on fleebay - but I guess there are plenty of similar Lowrance fishfinders that would take the same transducer, power and console fittings (getting a new cable run in will be emotional!).

Does anyone happen to know of any other Lowrance fishfinders that share the same family of transducers and power leads? I suppose any other Lowrance X.... series is too much to hope for.

I have no familiarity with the Lowrance range, but the key point about transducer compatibility will be the frequency. This should be quoted in the manual.

Lowrance used to use plug colour to indicate trandsducer combatibility, I think the old ones were grey and the newer ones are blue. Dont hold me to it, but a theory worth checking further maybe.

Mine are grey - do you think all X series grey are therefore compatible?

Do not know if they can help but www.jkmax.co.uk have some heads going in their sale & they are good on Lowrance stuff.Probably better to wait for a few days to speak to them as they are at LIBS.
