Re: HB \"Thalamege\"

If you pm me your telephone number or address I can pass it on to HB's daughter Joan Jardine Brown who is the HB society supremo. She is not a computer girl so prefers the older methods of communication.

Re: HB \"Thalamege\"

Hi Al, When I bought "Thalamege" the original Certificate of British Registry was along all the paper work and shows that your father owned her from Jan 73 untill Oct 91. After this date there is only one other owner listed, however, this document has been cancelled and from unofficial document I believe there have been another two owners before I bought her.
Structurally she still is in good condition. I did remove the original tradmark of the deck on the surveors advice but no sign of decay has been found. Currently I am re-painting her and replacing all toe rails, rubbing streaks, rudder and deck fittings. As with all wooden boats there is a lot of maintenance but fot a boat her age she's pretty sound. I am hoping to sail her to Holland in April.
Currently she's still in the Walton backwaters where as far a I know she has been sailing since 1991.
I you let me have your email address I will be able to sent you some pictures.
Looking foward to hearing from you,

regards,

Marco
