Haydn
Just a thought
Cos I,m off to look at MF on Monday
I was thinking
Do you need a liferaft?;)

Haydn, stop feeling bored and use this time wisely. I will be there in 6 months and will most likely be up to a bit of mischief myself. Fair warning, use this time to prepare yourself. Might even have a certain Tasmanian Devil on hand to make things more interesting.

Irrevently,
The Colonist

Haydn - what about one of those small electronic keyboards and a couple of decent speakers. You could have a gig in the ward when Matron is not looking.

I am always looking. By the way, EdBenyon has sent you a tasty snack.

Right, you've let your self in for it now.

You all remember Mucky Farters poem. I have not got a copy here. Maybe some one can find it.

But it goes something like.

When Mucky Farter goes out to play
she does it in her most imortal way.
the hard of hearing need not worry
for them there is a big black slurry
The neighbours it does alarm
even the navy is disarmed.

Just like a rocket ship leaving earth
So doth she depart her berth.

Right you lot

I want more verses, if I have to suffer, so can you.:D

Ok here it is.

When Mucky Farter goes out to play
She does it in her most immortal way.

The engines fire, about tenth time round
Then make a noise so all around

are warned that she’s going out to sea.
So they all know where they should be.

The hard of hearing, need not worry.
For them she has a big black slurry
of thick black smoke, they will have to hurry!

So all of Plymouth are forewarned.
Even the navy is disarmed.

With this high tec and stealthy ploy
Must admit,. the neighbours, it does annoy.

But never mind, with a noise like thunder
Leaves them all in aw and wonder.

Just like a rocket ship leaving earth
So doth she, depart her berth.

Leaving the marina, the smoke doth clear,
Only thoughts are from here to where.

Hoping the engines do roar on.
Is it left or right or just straight on.
Merv the perv has done his checks, so carry on, just straight on.

Don’t bother about a bit of sea,
MF will deal with it. Maybe not you, you see.

It might get a little bit bumpy.
What you mean, your feeling grumpy.

Out upon the wild west sea.
Only in glee should you be.

There are no mud flats around this bit
So there is no point in looking sick.

Getting worried about the changing sounds,
Is it that we’ve gone aground?

Na Mucky Farter won’t do that.
After all she’s far to fat.

Off to Scillies or the Solent.
She aint stopping for a moment.

Less a Pub does come in view.
The engines gurgle, wouldn’t you.??

Right, carry on.

Bugger it may be a bit tight on LS in that case. :)

It's OK Tom, Bernie said he will arrive a few days earlier and build an extra cabin. He was going to check which extra tools to bring with him.
A couple of suggestions under consideration are a fully enclosed 'sky-lounge' (flybridge), or a four foot extension in the hull.
Where do you think, the mid-ships or the stern? :D

Did you realise we are now listed as an endangered species Bernie? You don't think exposure to the characters of North Wales may be too much for this fragile creature? :)[/QUOTE

Alcohol poisoning for sure. But what's life without a little risk. I heard, through an unreliable source, that the Major is going to keep the drinks cabinet full. :D

When I'm under the weather I find that watching about 5 minutes of the Jeremy Kyle show soon has me thanking my lucky stars. Try it - it really works

Hope all is going to plan and you are keeping your spirits up:)

It's actually not to bad in here, they certainly do there best. Gone are the days of no mobile phones or lap tops. In fact I've been in far worse hotels.

Mind I think my feelings may change after Wednesday after the 8 hour Op.
