Havengore Bridge Closure?

Hi All,

I've learnt from another forum that Havengore Bridge is closed 'until further notice'. Is this true?

Worried that the MOD may be trying to close down this useful back door in and out of the Crouch.

Anybody know anything more about the closure?

Hi Fluff, I don't know anything about the closure but really cannot see that old and traditional route being closed forever. Is there anything on 'Notices to Mariners'?

If you go back to that thread, I think you'll find it is in fact now open.

Spending much time on the East Coast last few years, Havengore (and this year Potton) Bridge has been closed over several periods, usually UFN, on navigation information given out by the Coastguards at walton.

Didn't they rebuild it a few years ago?
