I have had a problem getting paid by Exchange Sails - they claim to have sold a snuffer of mine in early October for which I have not been paid and, after two months of prevarication over an unsold spinnaker finally agreed to pay for that as well "without further delay" in mid December. Here we are in mid January and I still have not received payment for either item- despite two email chasers.
For a commission seller - and pretty trumpy commission as well - this kind of "service" is pretty outrageous - it cannot be that difficult to write a cheque or do a bank transfer promptly in this day and age.
Has anybody else had similar (recent) experience with this organisation?
Update - 27th February 2015 - finally paid today after several more e-mails and two phone calls, together with a formal (snail mail) letter warning of a claim through the courts if not paid before the end of February.
Making payment "at the courtroom steps" is a toxic way to do business and cannot be a recommendation to do business with these people EVER AGAIN.
