Have they moved the pontoon at Cowes?

There used to be a public pontoon by the ferry on the town side of the Medina, I could not find it this year, a marina seems to have expanded to where I remember it to have been.

I dont think its moved. I passed the spot last week, and is was full of RIBs.
There is big expantion due to a £4.5 million development programme for Shepards Wharf Marina

I will have another look next time I am that way, I went up & down four times looking for it, could not see it and decided it used to be where Shepard’s Wharf marina extension now is.

Yup, still there but has had several pontoons attached to it. Thetis Wharf it's called and as far as I know is not part of Sheppards Wharf although still run by Harbour Authority. There last Saturday, suprising amount of room left both there and at Sheppards for 1800 on a June Saturday........
