Hi all
I inherited a force 10 gas BBQ when I bought my current boat but has never worked satisfactory cos it keeps going out .
Iv cleaned the burner and checked the jet for blockage/damage and all seems well . So I'm now querying whether I'm burning the correct gas. Inherited with the BBQ was a Gaz bottle connected via a Gaz regulator could that be the problem? Unfortunately the BBQ is no longer in production.

I think you will find it is intended to run off propane. I assume it will then run at the usual pressure for propane appliances (37mb)

It should be marked with the type of gas to use and the pressure

Check out the small propane bottles sold in B and Q and some plumbers supplies and see if they have the same thread as the BBQ. They fit some american BBqS
