I know that this has been posted before, but I am asking a slightly different question....

I have some lift out stickers from my local chandlery but they are basically adverts for the chandlery with the words "sling here" at the bottom

Since my yacht is in the med, currently in Croatia these UK stickers are not ideal. I wonder how to mark the sling here position in an international way

What kind of symbol might I use? I do have some adhesive stuff used for making sail numbers, so could cut something appropriate out. My question is what shape might be best?!

Thanks

I made some arrows with my vinyl cutter to replace the original labels, luckily the crane operator ignored them, explaining later (as I could now plainly see) that they marked where the saildrive was, so don't lift here!

I will be making some more with a propeller symbol on them, so could easily do crane hooks at the same time.

I have never seen the ones referenced in previous posts. The only ones I have seen are plastic inverted triangles stuck to the toe rail or hull. I am told usually readily available at marinas that have a resident boat lift.
