I'm chipping off the bird poo and spider webs from an old Hasler steering gear for use next year on an Azores trip in my Vertue.. Funds forbid a new bit of kit and anyway why waste good beer tokens,,,,,,,? Any ex-users with advice? Weak points, fast wearing parts etc etc.
I'm taking a QME as back up, authentic as hell, eh?
