Chellers has arrived here:

Mariners looking rather mahogany-coloured but they had a good sail if slightly less wind than optimal. They arrived at 4:30pm so were later than you.

We'll see you all on Saturday. Thanks for looking out for us, Flipper!

Are the 2 lighthouses Dungeness as well? Black one is the Old lighthouse. Useless fact - Adjacent to Lighthouse is Dungeness Station, the final stop of the famous Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Light Railway re-opened after WW11 in 1947 by Hollywood Stars Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. The Railway runs a regular service through from Hythe for most of the year.

Did that trip a few years ago but been to sleep since then so I've forgotten or is it /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Third picture is the Seven Sisters.

When I came round Dungeness it was as flat as the proverbial and no wind /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I've heard of people stemming a foul tide there for hours and hours.

I'm guessing the last one is either Outer Toungue, or more likely, Swin Spitway?

[/ QUOTE ]it is indeed Swin Spitway.

The second pic was Dungeness.

The third pic (glassy sea) was just outside Dover.

Well guessed folks!

I was just driving away from the boatyard having spent a frustrating day playing around with the electrics on 'Endymion' I saw a cat heading towards Morgans pontoons and was wondering if that was you...obviously it was! Welcome to Brightlingsea!!!

[/ QUOTE ]It was! We're the only cat there - in fact we're rather fatter than everyone else there which is a bit sobering.

We went for some mooring practice today and it was very hard work getting away from the pontoon - hoping that was just a bad first attempt and that it will get easier as we are more in practice.

Saw your boat in the yard as we drove off.
