Has anyone visited the Ile de Sein?
We plan to visit around 7-9 July this year, weather gods permitting. I am pretty sure we can navigate our way in, but my question is: how far in can we get? At this point I have to explain that the Admiral, while up for most other adventures, is bottom-phobic: any contact with the bottom at all is regarded as a rehearsal for a shipwreck, leading to my having to examine the keel bolts and drink all the bilge water before she notices there even is any.
It will be going towards neaps (Brest co of mid 60s and dropping) when we get there.
We draw 1.5m. Will we be able to get “inside” the harbour ? To what extent is the dumb-bell ferry zone really kept clear? Is there really no fresh water to be had?
Any intel welcome.
