The Navman 3200 Twin Diesel fuel system looks like a good idea, but I wondered if anyone on here has used either this or the petrol version. I'm not totally paranoid about fuel use, but as it looks like red is dead it might ease the pain if I can maximise economy on the longer runs next year.

Friend of mine has twin petrols and uses the Navman fuel flow sssystem Woorks well and he is pleased with it (although it firghtens him on accaision). I looked at getting the diesel version but it is a lot more expensive and I decided it wasn't worth it.

We do all the training for a company that offers boat share - all the boats have the Navman fuel system, and the boat I was on yesterday had it as well. Very good as far as I can see. The school boat has a different system to measure fuel use, but also works well.

It also works out the range available at the speed - can scare the [--word removed--] out of you sometimes /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifOne minute you can go around the world, the next............... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Yep used it before and as well as being good for fuel consumption it also tells you accurately how much you have left better then 99% of marine fuel gauges.

Also better than the Volvo ones.

I'd like to beleive it is, but there is no way europe is going to do us any favours as I see it. The fact that the German, French and Italian econmon ies are screwed just means they want to drag us down with them.

I've been thinking about a fuel flow system as well. Who's the UK distributor?
