Has anyone had experience of Gallichan marine?

We asked gallichan marine (Jersey CI) to do a few jobs on our Orkney day angler 21, general stuff that was better done properly, eg Fixing a slightly loose keelband.
Along with the jobs we requested they:
installed a new fishfinder, (our other one wasnt working perfectly but we never asked them to change it if it wasnt right)
completely polished the boat, (which we better not be charged for cause we can do that ourselves)
snap a fishing rod (???), and
loose 4 fenders that are fixed to the boat
Is this common for them?

Dont know but I have heard about some other dodgy deals they have done...alledgedly!

Yes, by the crane. It's now on the muds berths outside south pier

Yes a friend of a friend told me that his engine had been given to gallichan to put right. It was deemed unusable and Gallichen tried to sell a new one to him. But, he knew one of the mechanics who said it sat in the workshop, wasnt touched and was charged £80 for it.
How much of that is true i am unsure but add it to the list of suspicious activity for that place
