Not sure if this is the best forum to post this.

I thinking of doing an extended cruise Up the Rhine Into the Danube and possibly then continuing the voyage to Greece or Turkey. Be interested of any other similar journeys any body has undertaken. Or any books on the route pitfalls advice etc etc.

Thinking of taking the whole season in 2020 and then wintering there wherever there might be.

Oh dear, oh dear! I wish forum members wouldn't keep recommending books. I shall have to make another trip to IKEA to buy Billy bookshelves. :D
Or bite the bullet an buy a Kindle.

Much though I like paper books I don't like the house being overrun by bookshelves - Billy or otherwise. My particular downfall was Bookpeople who used to sell sets of books at about £1 per book,

So I took the decision to read as much as I can on an eReader and the house feels much larger :)

I have had a Kindle since they first came out and it is in daily use. However, the small screen size makes it less than satisfactory for books that contain illustrations and maps.
