Earlier this year I rediscovered my grandfathers boat, Treize and I am now trying to research as much about her as I can. She is currently at Pascos Yard in St Just and I hope to have her in the water next year. She was on the hard at Calstock Yard on the Tamar when I bought her but wondered if anyone knew her previous owner or anything more about her. My Grandfather kept her at Emsworth Sailing Club in the early 50's and I believe partly lived aboard/ lived at the club after my grandmother died, while working in London. Anyone suggestions as to how to research her history would be very much appreciated

Old copies of Lloyd's Register are a good place to start. Being prior to the data protection act, they even have owner's addresses, which can sometimes come up trumps.

My own, from 1964, has her owned by Alan R Rogers, and based in Lymington. Will PM his address (after all, you never know).

Bets of luck with the hunt.
