Hi ya chaps...and chapess's

Does anyone know if and where I can get a replacement sheave for a Harken Genoa car, or if, indeed, they are replaceable. It's for a 36ft Oceanis on a T track (didn't measure the size when I was last at the boat - sorry). The one that's on it has obviously jammed on the previous owner and has a s*dding great groove in it! I've been onto various web-sites and nearly passed out at the cost of around £160 for a replacement car, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I don't know whether your worn bits are replaceable but the best people to ask are www.harken.com. They are most helpful. They also have a place down south (used to be in Helensborough many years ago).

You may find UK contact numbers on their USA web site.

An alternative, lower cost approach is to look at the Barton site as they sell spares for most of their assemblies. You may find something to suit you there.

Thanks all...
I was hoping get somewhere online... but have reverted to the good old phone method of communication as suggested. The people at Harken are most helpful ..and for your info they seem to think that the sheaves are replaceable ... but are getting back to me.
So thanks again.
