I have had a 194 for 8 years and use her in Chichester harbour & the Solent.
I recently changed from a four stroke to an Evinrude 2 stroke 60hp outboard which has improved handling and enables the plane to be achieved smoothly.
She is a tough and seaworthy little craft and makes a good fishing platform with the ability to get to a mark comfortably at 18-20 knots.
Best investment: sliding windows in the wheelhouse.
