Hard wired USB power supplies

I'm fed up with the underpowered cigar plug type power supplies and I've been looking for a high powered USB charger for my smartphone. I spotted on eBay there are some new 3A power supplies that can be hard wired. Might be of interest to others?

Doesn't matter, no device is designed to draw 3 amps from the supply anyway.

I spotted on eBay there are some new 3A power supplies that can be hard wired...

Charges iPad at 2.1A and iPhone at 1A, at the same time. It is hard wired onto the terminals, heat-shrink over the back, and glued flush.
