Please find attached two Environment Agency Harbourmaster’s notices.
When: Saturday 12 December 2015 – 09.00 to 16.30
Where: Sunbury Reach, D’Oyly Carte Island to Walton Rowing Club
What’s happening: Walton Small Boats Head
The navigation channel shall be established on the north, Shepperton, right hand side of the river (when looking upstream). The navigation channel will be on the old river course around Desborough Island and the north channel around D’Oyly Carte Island.
When: Tuesday 15 December 2015 – 09.45 – 15.00
Where: Mapledurham Lock
What’s happening: Emergency water rescue exercise
If you are navigating during this time you may be asked to wait for a period of up to 30 minutes before you are allowed to continue up or downstream through the lock. This is to ensure the safety of both those involved in the exercise and our River Thames users.
