I clocked him doing 20 kts in the restricted speed bit going towards Shamrock Quay, caused havoc with the sailors and rowers, and me in the rib, he went under the bridge turned round and then sped through OV - too fast as usual - good example to all

Was just about to complain to HM about excessive speed at Poole Quay (6knots) when the HM shot past at 12 plus.. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

The police only ask to be polite!!

not sure about that - a harbour master is responsible for safety in his domain, a speeding boat, be it a police boat or stinkie can kick up one hell of a wash.

I would suggest they ask permission to exceed the speed limit as a formality to avoid repercussions later.

but I am guessing - anyone here know different.
