Very comfortable hotel/restaurant spoilt by pretentious menu (London prices for very moderate meal) and surly service from wine waiter (but waitress very pleasant). Six of us go in, the lady in charge obviously didnt like the look of us (although we had changed from sailing gear) and told us, on a wet Saturday night, high season, we were lucky that it was quiet. Surely the reverse it true, wasn't she lucky to have an extra six diners if it was quiet!? Nowhere near as good as the food or service at the Ardbeg distillery! Tour highly recommended
