Fresh fish breadfruit and mangoes can get old and when it is raining a bit of old fashioned comfort food goes down a treat.

Anyone else made an unlikely but welcome discovery when well off the road much traveled?

Barr's Irn-Bru in a tiny shop in the old East Germany about a week after the wall came down.
They were stopped from selling it later because the tins didn't have the ingredients printed in German!
