I preferred either a master cabin or quarter berth which meant I didn’t have to mix with the paid hands
Was daydreaming about this very subject and came to the conclusion it must be a real drag having a big yacht and paid crews…basically giving them a nice holiday…….my choice would be a 50 footer with skipper/engineer. and a cook /deckhand……..two people

Once you get past the 20 M mark they are unobtrusive until summoned or needed 😁

And you can go up to 24 metres Loadline length and still drive the boat yourself - San Lorenzo have managed to design a 96' motor yacht while still keeping to a loadline length of 24 metres, and JFM on the Mobo Forum is currently building one.
I think that he is his own engineer as well, although there is probably a paid hand to do the mundane cleaning stuff in the engine room.

The Fishers really look the business, but the sailing performance, of the smaller ones at least, is pretty poor by most accounts.
Looking at the vid of the fisher Freeward the one without the wheelhouse it seems to trundle along ok,with a sprayhood someshelter from the blistering Spanish sun will be achieved, the wheelhouse ones are a bit twee and the sail area too divided
