Hands on sailing experience wanted - Based in Bristol

I am very keen to learn to sail. I have done a very short course which involved sailing from Gosport to the Isle of Wight and I am on the waiting lists for the Bristol schools. In the meantime I was hoping to push things along and find some kind soul who would be willing to let me crew.

As for me? Male, engineer, house trained, non smoker etc. I am based in Bristol but would be willing to travel further afield given the opportunity.

Don't despair that there has been no reply. It might be worth posting again. I have a 37ft sail boat in Cardiff bay, but I don't get the time to get out much so can't offer anything specific at this time. Keep posting and then I can keep you on my radar. Hopefully you will get some more assistance or offers. It may be worth just visiting some of the yacht clubs, they will all be very friendly.
