I need to purchase a drinking-water-grade 5-gallon plastic jerrycan and require this to be fitted with a simple dispensing pump (as opposed to the more usual on/off tap).

I've searched the web, visited many chandlery/caravanning sites and googled my googles off but have failed to locate anything suitable.

Can anyone suggest a supplier, please?

TIA,

Ron.

Can with a pump fitted? I don't know I have no recollection of seeing anything like it.

A pump to fit onto can. Wine-making supplies, and I would have thought camping shops, will have a syphon/pump that could be fitted through the cap (or even the top of the can). Maybe not quite what you had in mind though.

Something like this?

Probably not suitable Ronald, but I used to sail with a chap who stored his water in 5gall cans in a locker an used a whale hand pump in the galley, he just stuck the end of the suction tube in the "in use2 can. Bill.

Thanks for all the replies, folks.

I shall extend my web search to include wine-making sites as well. Who knows there might still be time to brew up a liitle something for Christmas!! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
