My furling genoa ripped last week whist sailing and i need it repaired fast. I live in Portsmouth however i can drive anywhere.
Does anyone know a good reasonably priced sail maker who is reasonabally fast at turnaround too.
Thankyou for any help.

Also what is the average cost of a corner and seam fixed for a length of around 15 - 2 Meters

If you are actually in Portsmouth then why not go to Bond Sails (also known as Henderson covers) in Southsea marina (previously known as Langstone Marina).

They're up the steps on the second floor of the big building behind the Bombay Bay restaurant. Big sign on the side of the building.

Ask for Anthony - although he'll be the only one there. He does all the repairs himself on site.

BTW - why are you still up Vic!

Same reason as most of these I expect

30boat, alan_d, AllanW, AndieMac, clyst, Cruiser2B, cruisingsam, DaveS, DerrickHigton, EagerV, emsworthy, freebird1, fuss, Granthsmith, grumpy_o_g, gunman, HappydaysAgain, hlb, JKay, Kevan, Knecht., knightvision, landlockedpirate, LittleSister, macnorton, Marmalade, Martin_J, mikefleetwood, MYAG, mylo, Nick_H, nordic_ranger, okapi69, patturner, peterb, purplerobbie, Ramage, richardm47, robertj, Rum_Pirate, Seahope, SJF, Talulah, thejonesey, timbartlett, TopDonkey, Trident 24, zetorpilot

.. and I am on board in Southsea..

Wonderful thunder and lightning just now and the wind has just picked up!

Time for bed... but if you want to catch Anthony at the sail loft... he's usually there early (soon after 8am).

What are the prices like at henderson sail makers. I am birthing at Southsea Marina so its conveniant but really looking for something cheap
